Documentary film for manufacturers and contractors

You already know why you're the better choice. Nobody outside your business does.

We make documentary films that show buyers what your best clients already know.

The problem

The reason to hire you happens where nobody can see it.

Your best clients know exactly why you're worth more. New buyers don't, because no one has shown them.

We put that proof on camera. Your customers, your crew, and your work, in their own words. Then we make sure it reaches the people deciding.

How it works

One shoot day. Years of selling.

Meet Dylan

You work with me, from the first call to the final cut.

I started in photojournalism, learning to find the one moment that tells the whole story. Since 2019 I've made more than fifty films for manufacturers, contractors, and nonprofits.

I stopped taking scripted work after a coffee shop commercial: three mornings of filming for one minute that nobody understood. Everything since is built on real people. The same day that used to produce one commercial now produces a three minute film and fifteen shorter cuts. My favorite part is still the same: spending a day inside someone's world and showing it to people who have never been there.

Questions

Before you book.

What does a project cost?

What moves the number is how much has to be figured out before anybody films anything. A company that already knows exactly what makes them different is a different project than one where we have to find it. Both are fine. They just aren't the same job. We'll talk through it together on the strategy call.

What if it isn't right?

Say yes, and within thirty days you have the Competitive Visibility Report, the kickoff call, and the full production plan, all before anything is filmed. If it isn't right at that point, you get your payment back in full.

What if our people aren't comfortable on camera?

Most people aren't, at first. There's nothing to memorize. We ask people to explain their work like they would to a fifth grader. The first answer is usually the conference version. The second one is the one that sells.

How much of our time does it take?

A shoot day pulls a few of your best people off the floor for interviews, but the line never slows down and you walk away with a year of content. Before that, it's one strategy call and a free one hour floor walk so we can scout light and noise ahead of time.

Do we need a script?

No. We plan the questions, not the answers. The moments that sell are the ones nobody could have written.

Why not use AI video?

We use it where it helps and not where it costs you. It's good at producing things. It can't tell you which thing to produce, and it can't get a plant manager to say something honest. Everything we film is real people doing real work, because that's what a buyer believes.

Do you travel?

Yes. We're based in Greensboro and film across North Carolina. We've traveled to Connecticut, Cleveland and Atlanta for jobs, and we'll go almost anywhere for the right project.

What happens on the strategy call?

We open with one question: what would you like to accomplish on this call? Then we talk through what you're trying to fix, who needs to see it, and what's coming up in the next 60 to 90 days. If video isn't the right answer yet, we'll tell you.
