The turning point.
We used to sell commercials. Good looking ones. Cinematic shots, perfect lighting, the kind of thing that plays well in a portfolio.
A client asked for one and we delivered something beautiful. It sat on their website, unused.
When they called back months later, we asked different questions. What is this video for. Who is watching it. What do you want them to do after they watch it.
Nothing about the camera work had failed. The video just did not have a job.
So we filmed again, and this time the work happened before the camera turned on. Who should be on camera, what to ask them, and what we needed to hear them say. Customers, employees, and the founder, in their own words, all of it pointed at something the business actually needed.
Within two months those videos helped close three deals.
That is the brand story video, and it is still the thing we make. It still looks good. The difference is that the look is no longer the point.
Meet Dylan Smith.
Owner and video strategist. Raised in Greensboro. Eagle Scout. An associate degree in photojournalism, and making video for Triad businesses since 2019.
Growing up exploring the Triad, he photographed everything: nature, people, businesses. He became obsessed with capturing what makes people different and passionate about their work.
Now he brings that curiosity to your business. Meeting you where you work, learning your story, and making videos that make customers say: I get them, and I want to work with them too.
What sets us apart.
Since 2019 we have filmed more than fifty projects for manufacturing plants, construction companies, and nonprofits across North Carolina. What sets us apart is not the camera work. It is the discovery we do first: figuring out which video will actually move something in your business, whether that is closing sales, recruiting people, or winning bids.
The first question is never about video. It is what makes you different from the companies you compete against. If you want to score yourself first, take the Trust Audit.

What it looks like for a client.
Questions we get asked.
Do you travel outside the Triad?
Yes. We are based in Greensboro and work across Winston-Salem, High Point, Burlington and the surrounding area. We have filmed as far as Asheville, Connecticut, Cleveland and Atlanta, and for the right project we will go almost anywhere.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Mostly manufacturers, general contractors and nonprofits. We have also worked with food brands, event spaces and product companies. The common thread is a business with something real to show that is hard to explain in words.
What does the first conversation look like?
A short call about what your business is trying to accomplish. We ask what the video is actually for, who needs to see it, and what should happen after they do. Sometimes that conversation ends with us saying video is not the answer yet.
Plain answers, before you call.

Everybody's work looks good, which makes it useless for comparing. What to ask instead, which price gaps are real, and when the cheap option is right.
